Hi, I'm Martine, the Home Manager at Aspen Manor. With over 20 years of experience as a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN), I've dedicated my career to complex mental health services and elderly community care. For the past 15 years, I've been in management roles, leading teams to deliver exceptional care. At Aspen Manor, my priority is to create a warm, safe, and supportive environment where residents receive person-centred care tailored to their individual needs. I'm committed to upholding the highest standards of care, ensuring dignity, respect, and well-being for every resident. I also recognize the importance of supporting families during their loved one’s care journey, offering reassurance, guidance, and compassionate support every step of the way. A key part of my role is fostering a positive and motivated team, ensuring staff feel valued and empowered to provide the best possible care. By promoting a culture of professionalism, empathy, and excellence, I strive to make Aspen Manor a trusted and welcoming home for those in our care.

Deputy Manager
Hello, my name is Clair, and I've been working in care for around 25 years now. I started my career in care when I was 18 and worked in a home for young adults with disabilities. I began as a care assistant and decided to work in a dementia care home for the elderly. I've loved it so much that I've worked in residential care homes for the elderly for the rest of my career to date. Over the years, I've completed various training, leading to my completion of NVQs in Health and Social Care in Management. I've worked for Aspen Manor since it opened in October 2021 and thoroughly enjoy my job as Deputy Manager.

Hello, my name is Teodora, and I'm the Home Administrator. I'm responsible for all administrative tasks at Aspen Manor. I have a degree in accountancy from Romania and a degree in healthcare from the UK. With over 10 years of experience in the domiciliary care sector, I've worked as a care assistant, care supervisor, and recruitment manager. I'm very passionate about providing the highest standard of care and support for the residents who stay at Aspen Manor.
Marc Carnie
Head Chef
Hello, my name is Marc, and I'm the Head Chef leading the kitchen team at Aspen Manor. I have a Level 3 qualification in food and hygiene and a wide range of experience catering for all occasions. I enjoy providing excellent meals for our residents, making it feel more like their own homes. I'm renowned for my ‘Afternoon Teas’ and making meals for special occasions. I'm always willing to learn new skills and am open to new ideas. My other passions are football and playing cards.

Hello, my name is Lisa, and I'm the Head of the activities team. I'm responsible for creating and facilitating person-centred activities. I have 25 years of experience working in nursing, dementia, and residential care homes, and years of volunteering on the PTA. I believe it's the best job in the home because I get to spend quality time with residents, getting to know them now and more about their previous experiences so that activities are relevant and meaningful for them.

Customer Relations Officer
Hello, my name is Claire, and I'm the Customer Relations Officer at Aspen Manor Care Home. I'm responsible for resident admissions and liaising with families. I joined Aspen Manor in 2024 and have a background in HR, Corporate Relations, and most recently, Admissions in the Independent School sector. I live locally with my family and was born in Oakham, bringing a wealth of experience and local knowledge to my role at Aspen Manor. I'm very much looking forward to meeting potential new residents and their families, guiding them through the admissions process, and welcoming them to our lovely home.

Unit Manager
Hello, my name is Rachel, and I've been in care for many years. I started as a care assistant and worked my way up to Unit Manager. I've worked in many sectors of care, but my passion lies in Dementia and End of Life care. I manage the dementia care unit and the residential top floor here at Aspen Manor. I've been with Alysia Caring for many years, starting at one of the company’s homes in Peterborough, then moving to Stamford, and now here to Aspen Manor in Oakham. I love my role and find it very rewarding. I'm a wife, mother, and grandma, and I have a Chihuahua who keeps me company when I'm at home.

Hello, my name is Tracy, and I'm a Unit Manager at Aspen Manor. I have 14 years of experience working in the Care industry, ranging from learning disabilities, residential, dementia, and palliative care. I'm passionate about ensuring that our residents receive the highest quality of person-centred care so that they can continue to enjoy their hobbies and interests and have the best quality of life. I started working at Aspen Manor when it first opened in October 2021. I'm proud of the home and what we've achieved together as a team.

Hello, my name is Kriss, and I'm the Maintenance Manager of the Alysia Caring Group, overseeing the maintenance of three care homes and a block of apartments. I'm based at Aspen Manor. With a strong commitment to ensuring safe, efficient, and comfortable living environments, I bring a hands-on approach and attention to detail to every project. In addition to this role, I also serve as an on-call firefighter as part of my contribution to the community. When not working, I enjoy playing golf.

Hello, my name is Aneta, and I've been a receptionist at Aspen Manor since November 2023. I'm proud to be the first person our relatives and visitors meet upon entering the home and relish the opportunity to get to know them. With over 9 years of work experience as a Recruitment Consultant, I also assist with the recruitment process in our home. I enjoy travelling and am interested in a healthy lifestyle, including food, exercise, and psychology.
Anita Bowling
Head Housekeeper
Hello, my name is Anita, and I'm the Head Housekeeper at Aspen Manor. Alongside my team of housekeepers, we're responsible for all of the housekeeping and laundry in the Home. I joined Aspen Manor in 2024 and have a longstanding background working in Care Homes. I love the daily interactions with our residents, their family and friends, and uphold very high standards of cleanliness.
